This was created with sincere thanks to Claudio. I couldn't have worked this out!
In some parts of the world they use do re me fa so.... rather than C D E F ... so
I don't think anybody understood what he had contributed.
Have a look for Sister Moon Sting on YouTube to hear this in it's full glory.
To play this at the correct pitch you need a capo on the 2nd fret, but I can't
sing as high as Sting,
so this is more comfortable for me, particularly when he goes up an octave at the ends
that
gorgeous sax fades in.
I've tried to capture some of the sax solos for the guitar, but you need to listen to
original
to get the timing right.
The backing is really subtle, so you have to be very soft and smooth on the guitar.
Em6 to F#m7 is just a matter of turning the finger on the 2nd fret into a barre on the
fret. Very easy!
I haven't tried to transcribe the sax at the end. Too hard.
Instead I've added that mysterious spread chord followed by the plucked harmonic on the
and E strings
with the little finger just touching them gently above the fifth fret. (Pluck them quite
back towards the bridge)
May take practice to get a nice high ring.

Enjoy as much as I have!
