Hello all! Here's my transcription of Funny (But I Still Love You), a hit by Ray Charles.
As usual, I strongly recommend listening to the original song in order to pick up the rhythm
(the song is in 6/8 and Ray's piano rolls over the chords, but you can figure out your own patterns).
As usual, I've written the fingerings that I use, but feel free to change any of them. The song starts
with a suspended Bb7(#5) chord which you should let ring before starting to sing. At the end of the bridge
(and also during the solo vamp, specially during the solo vamp), the chord Ab/Bb (the one played with the
word "alone") can be substituted for a Emaj7, which sounds much more shiny.
And as always, message me for inquiries and/or mistakes and HAPPY PLAYING!
