Heyo,
Worry came out today and salvaged a pretty shitty week. This song stood out as probably the most generally
musically appealing track I've heard from Jeff and put a mad worm in my ear, so I had to hop on this after
work or I was going to go crazy (along with those I drove crazy around me)
I haven't quite nailed down the main arpeggio, because the song has a lagging triplets kind of feel and I
haven't been practicing enough recently to do that. It's basically playing around with the E, A, and D strings
of a G chord and then you play an open A every now and then. Same thing with the C it alternates with.
The "solo" and fills are easy enough if you spend a little time working on them since they're mostly on
melody.
The rhythm is not easy to pick up, but are the good things in life ever easy?

Intro:
G
Hit!
Verse:
G C
I arrived, drenched in morning light
G C
And it churned up my guts unless I closed my eyes
G C
Made it up the stairs to the bed
G C
Inside without puking up a fantastic time
Bridge:
Em C
And everything so unexpectedly started to feel like a dream
Em Asus
But I couldn't stop drifting out when the magic would spin
Verse:
G C
2:00 PM: I missed my class again
G C
Did you miss yours too because you're sleeping in?
G C
Are the two of us both imagining
G C
Seven-hour round trips into each others' beds?
Bridge:
Em C
And Everything so unexpectedly started to change in the dream
Em Asus
But I was preoccupied with how the magic would end
Em
Because nothing intangible remains sustainable
C
Hope is a scheme
Em C
Will I ever see you a-gain?
Em Asus
Will I ever see you a-gain?
Chorus:
G D
And if I see you soon
Am
Will you want to see me?
Em D C
Or will you just want to sneak a-way?
G D Am
Did I creep you out like a scary movie?
Em C
I hope that we feel the same
Em Asus
I hope that we feel the same
Verse:
G C
Fuck! Oh, I did something weird last night
G C
I made out in the van with a girl I like
G
We were kinda drunk
C
But it seemed alright
G C
So we made out for the en-ti-re ride
Bridge
Em C
And everything so unexpectedly started to feel like a dream
Em Asus
But I was preoccupied with how the magic would end
Em
Because nothing intangible remains sustainable
C
Hope is a scheme
Em C
Will I ever see you a-gain?
Em Asus
Will I ever see you a-gain?
Chorus:
G D
and If I see you soon
Am
Will you want to see me
Em D C
Or will you just want to sneak a-way?
G D Am
Will you kiss me hard like a garbage movie?
Em C
I hope that we feel the same
Em Asus
I hope that we feel the same
Solo:
G C G C G C
Bridge:
Em C
I hope that I'm not reading in-
Em Asus
to this too much It's a kiss
Em C
I hope that I'm not reading in-
Em Asus
to this too much It's a kiss
Middle 8:
G C
But is there someone thinking of me when I'm feeling alone
G C
And I'm spending weekends staring at the wall
G/D C
If there's someone thinking of you when you're feeling alone
Em Am
How can that compare to nothing nice at all?
Chorus:
G D
and If I see you soon
Am
Will you want to see me
Em D C
Or will you just want to sneak a-way?
G D Am
Will you kiss me hard like some shit in a terrible movie?
Em C
I hope that we feel the same
Em Asus
I hope that we feel the same
Em C
I hope that we feel the same
Em Asus
I hope that we feel the same
Verse:
G C
Fuck! Oh, I did something weird last night
G C
I made out in the van with a girl I like
G
We were kinda drunk
C
But it seemed alright
G C
So we made out for the en-ti-re ride
Hope this angers a few neighbors!
