D A D
[Verse 1]
You didn't Dknow I wasn't free
When you Gfell in love with Dme
And with all your young Aheart you learned to Dcare
It brought you Dshame and disgrace
The world has Gtumbled in your Aface
Cause they Dcall our love a Aback street afDfair
[Verse 2]
They Dsay I wrecked your home,
You're a Ghusband that's gone Dwrong
They don't know the sorrow Athat we had to Dbear
For the Done I'm tied to
was the Gfirst to prove unAtrue
Now they Dcall our love a Aback street afDfair
[Break]

D A D D
D G A
D A D D
[Verse 3]
We Dhave each other now,
That's all that Gmatters anyDhow
For the judgment of Agossip's never Dfair
We'll Djust be brave and strong
Then someGday they'll see they're Awrong
Let em Dcall our love a Aback street afDfair
[Verse 4]
We'll be Dfree to love someday
When all the Gtalk has died aDway
and the happiness we Ahoped for then we'll Dshare
We'll Dclimb a mountain high,
then the Gworld will hear us Acry
That our Dlove was not a Aback street afDfair
No, our Dlove was not a Aback street affDairG  D
