"Ophelia" delves into the allure and potential pitfalls of fame, with its lyrics offering a "vague reference to people falling in love with fame." The song began as a slower instrumental demo that sparked excitement and led to the writing of its distinctive hook. Despite initial thoughts of changing the name due to another song with the same title, it was decided that no other name possessed the right musicality. The songwriting process proved challenging, with difficulty in crafting verses, leading to the project being set aside for four years before its resurrection for a new record. Playing this song can evoke the bittersweet reflection on ambition and its consequences.
