Capo II
Intro: G   C   G  C
GNight time slows, raindrops splash Crainbows
Perhaps someone Gyou know, could sparkle and Cshine
As Gdaydreams slide to colour from sChadow
Picture the Gmoonglow, that dazzles my Ceyes
And DI love yCou
GJust lying smiling in the Cdark
Shooting stars around your Amheart
Dreams come bouncing in your Dhead
Pure and simple everyGtime
Now you're crying in your Csleep
I wish you'd never learnt to Amweep
Don't sell the dreams you should be Dkeeping
Pure and simple eGverytime
C
GDreams of sights, of sleigh rides in Cseasons
Where feelings not Greasons, can make you Cdecide
As Gleaves pour down, splash autumn on Cgardens
As colder nights Gharden, their moonlit Cdelights
And DI love Cyou
GJust lying smiling in the Cdark
Shooting stars around your Amheart
Dreams come bouncing in your Dhead
Pure and simple everyGtime
Now you're crying in your Csleep
I wish you'd never learnt to Amweep
Don't sell the dreams you should be Dkeeping
Pure and simple eGverytime
Look at me with starry Ceyes
Push me up to starry Amskies
There's stardust in my Dhead
Pure and simple everytiGme
Fresh and deep as oceans Cnew
Shiver at the sight of Amyou
I'll sing a softer Dtune
Pure and simple over Gyou
C,G,C,
GIf love's the truth then look no lies
And lCet me swim around your eyes
I've Amfound a place I'll never leave
DShut my mouth and just believe
