"Immortals" was written for the film Big Hero 6 to capture the moment a group of super smart individuals transform into high-tech heroes. The band aimed to convey the feeling of stepping into a bigger role, where some things work and some don't, but there's a sense of growth and becoming. The title itself reflects the idea that victories aren't just your own, but shared, as people come together to help someone reach the finish line. At its heart, the song embodies the spirit of the underdog rising to the occasion.
