"Lyla" is a love song, with the songwriter joking that the titular Lyla is actually the sister of the "Sally" from another of the band's songs. The track was designed for pogoing and is described as annoyingly catchy and the poppiest thing of its kind in years, blending influences that feel like a psychedelic city in the sky. Though initially overlooked during its creation, the band later realized its power when playing it live. At its heart, it's a vibrant, energetic declaration of affection.
