The guitarist plays this fingerpicking pattern, but I \r\nbothered to tab it,\r\nbecause it sounds better if you play the chords (if you only got one guitar). Thin Lizzy \r\nthe whole thing\r\nwith a big orchestra (or so it seems) so they have a full sound, and if you dont play \r\nchords, the sound will be\r\nuninteresting and flat. The 2 riffs I have set up is optional. It sounds just a bit cool \r\nyou do them. Riff1 is\r\nreally played with 1 guitar and 1 bass, and at one place it is played by some sort of \r\n(or something like that).\r\nRiff2 is a riff for the bass guitar, but I like it, so I put it in there.\r\n\r\nIntro:\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]E[/ch] [ch]B[/ch] [ch]D[/ch] [ch]A[/ch] [ch]Am[/ch] [ch]E[/ch]\r\ne|-----7-----7-5---------5-----5-----4---------|\r\nB|---9-----7-----7-----5-----5-----5---5---5-5-|\r\nG|-9-----8---------7-6-----5-----4-------6-----|\r\nD|---------------------------------------------|\r\nA|---------------------------------------------|\r\nE|---------------------------------------------|[/tab]\r\n\r\nRiff1: Riff2:\r\n\r\n[tab]e|--------------------------|------------------|\r\nB|--------------------------|------------------|\r\nG|-1--2--2/4--2--1--2/4--1--|------------------|\r\nD|-2--4--4/6--4--2--4/6--2--|--2---------------|\r\nA|--------------------------|-----4--2---------|\r\nE|--------------------------|-----------4--0---|[/tab]\r\n\r\n\r\nIntro x3\r\n\r\n[tab][ch]E[/ch]** [ch]B[/ch]\r\n These words I wrote, play and sing to you[/tab]\r\n[tab][ch]D[/ch] [ch]A[/ch]**\r\n Do not convey the love I brought and bring to you[/tab]\r\n[tab][ch]Am[/ch] [ch]E[/ch]*\r\n For this is a song for while I'm away[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]A[/ch]* [ch]E[/ch] (Riff1)\r\nTo say all the things I'd love to say[/tab]\r\n\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]A5[/ch] [ch]G#5[/ch] [ch]F#5[/ch] [ch]E5[/ch] (Riff2)\r\nYou are my life, my everything, you're all I have[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]C#5[/ch] [ch]B5[/ch] [ch]A5[/ch]\r\nYou are my hopes, my dreams, my world come true[/tab]\r\n[tab][ch]F#5[/ch] [ch]E5[/ch] (Riff2)\r\nYou're all I have[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]F#5[/ch] [ch]G#5[/ch] ([ch]F#5[/ch]) [ch]E5[/ch] (Riff2)\r\nPlease heed me now these words I have to say[/tab]\r\n\r\nIntro x3\r\n\r\nNow I'm headed for the border\r\nYou see this song it ends right at the start\r\nI swore when I was younger\r\nNo one would win my heart\r\n\r\nChorus x2\r\n\r\nIntro x3\r\n\r\nAnd far away hills look greener still\r\nBut soon they'll all slip away\r\nIt's then I'll be returning\r\nAnd I'll be coming home to stay\r\n\r\nFade out while playing chorus.\r\n\r\nChords:\r\n\r\nIn the verse:\r\n\r\n[ch]A[/ch]* x02225\r\n[ch]A[/ch]** 577655\r\n[ch]B[/ch] 799877\r\n[ch]D[/ch] x57775\r\n[ch]E[/ch] 022100\r\n[ch]E[/ch]* 476454\r\n[ch]E[/ch]** x79997\r\n\r\nIn the chorus:\r\n\r\n[ch]A5[/ch] x022xx\r\n[ch]B5[/ch] x244xx\r\n[ch]C#5[/ch] x466xx\r\n[ch]E5[/ch] x022xx\r\n[ch]F#5[/ch] 244xxx\r\n[ch]G#5[/ch] 466xxx","plain_text":"#----------------------------------PLEASE NOTE---------------------------------#\n#This file is the author's own work and represents their interpretation of the #\n#song.
