I didn't see any chords of this song yet, and it's a great song! I know Andy Summers plays it\r\nwith tuning half step up when he plays live, but this way (standard tuning) sounds very good to me (better \r\nthan if you put a capo on the 1st fret I think) and very close to the record too, especially if you don't hit \r\nthe e string. There are some chords, especially the Ab chord and in the outro, that sometimes you just have \r\nto strum once. I didn't put the strumming pattern but it's easy to find out listening to to song and \r\nfollowing the positions below.\r\n\r\n[Chorus]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n We were born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Verse 1]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n My mother cried[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n When president Kennedy died[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n She said it was the communists[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n But I knew better[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Verse 2]\r\n\r\n[tab][ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Would they drop the bomb on us[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n While we made love on the beach?[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n We were the class they couldn't teach[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch]\r\n 'Cause we knew better[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Chorus]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n We were born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Verse 3]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n They screamed[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n When the Beatles sang[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n And they laughed when the King fell down the stairs[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch]\r\n Oh they should've known better[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Verse 4]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Oh we hated our Aunts[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Then we messed in our pants[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Then we lost our faith and prayed to the TV[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch]\r\n Oh we should've known better[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Chorus]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n We were born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Bridge]\r\n\r\n[tab][ch]Ebm7[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n We freeze like statues on the pages of history[/tab]\r\n[tab][ch]Ebm7[/ch] [ch]Ebm7[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Living was never like this when we took all those G.C.E.'s[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Ebm7[/ch] [ch]Gb7[/ch] [ch]Gbm[/ch]\r\n Oh, you opened the door for us and then you turned to dust[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch]\r\n You don't understand us, so don't reprimand us[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch]\r\n We're taking the future, we don't need no teacher[/tab]\r\n\r\n[Chorus]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n[tab] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch]\r\n Born, born in the fifties[/tab]\r\n\r\n\r\n[Chords]\r\n\r\n[tab] [ch]Bb[/ch] [ch]Ab[/ch] [ch]Eb[/ch] [ch]Db[/ch] [ch]Ebm7[/ch] [ch]Gb7[/ch] [ch]Gbm[/ch]\r\ne|--6---4---6---4----6-----2----2--|\r\nB|--6---4---8---6----7-----2----2--|\r\nG|--7---5---8---6----6-----3----2--|\r\nD|--8---6---8---6----8-----2----4--|\r\nA|--8---6---6---4----6-----4----4--|\r\nE|--6---4------------------2----2--|[/tab]","plain_text":"BORN IN THE 50's - The Police\nAlbum: Outlandos d'Amour (1978)\n\nHi there!
